What we do - -> IT services
We have perfected the art of the software development life cycle through
our methodology which is based on efficiency and simplicity. We believe in
re-usability without sacrificing the creativity. Through our business domain
and technical expertise, we make sure, we know what are the challenges and what are the
best practices that will serve our clients the best.
Radicle’s IT Implementation Service Line consists of the following practices:
Radicle designs and implements solutions that transform a complete
range of enterprise processes. Our approach and solutions are
technology agnostic - combining the best of emerging technologies with
the existing valuable components of the company.
For our clients open to offshore development, we offer development
through our global delivery model. Conventional wisdom may state that
internet based applications require high levels of interaction
complexity and are, therefore, unsuitable for offshore development.
Radicle's successful track record has proven this conventional wisdom to
be invalid. Our methodology, global delivery model and close
communication has enabled us to successfully deliver many quality
e-business solutions including complex and comprehensive e-commerce
site with back office functions and integration.
Technologies supported range from Microsoft based technologies such
as .NET, C#, WinCE, etc. to Java based environments with MVC framework. In
addition to different Web application serves such as Weblogic,
Websphere and Oracle, we have experience with associated tools and
technologies including, but not limited to, content management tools,
personalization servers, etc. Further, our expertise extends to Open
Source environments, tools including Linux, PHP, MySQL, AJAX, STRUTS, Hibernate, etc.
Our expertise is not limited to web oriented environments. We can
help you with other development projects, including applications that
integrate or augment the functions of standard software such as ERP or
CRM packages using Web Services.
Radicle does not require that clients commit to a project before
they engage us. Some of our clients have existing teams and want to
perform IT tasks using internal resources for sound, strategic
reasons. Such clients can choose to leverage Radicle US resources, our
recruiting capabilities and our depth of technical knowledge by hiring
Radicle consultants on a staff augmentation basis. Our technical focus
for such assignments is on staff with skills related to Microsoft and
Java based technologies. Functional responsibilities vary from
Developers to Analysts – QA, Functional, Business, Process - and
Project Managers.
- Application Maintenance
Radicle’s offshore teams can maintain and extend the functions of
your existing applications. Services include:
- Monitoring of your mission critical
application
- Application support and enhancement
- Operations support, including help desk
We offer these services on applications
that are operating on different platforms including mainframes,
midrange systems such as AS/400 or Microsoft and UNIX environments.
- Dedicated Offshore Teams
Enhance your existing capabilities by using Radicle’s offshore teams as an
extension of your existing development staff. Radicle will provide
teams of specified capabilities who will operate just as if they are
your internal teams taking direction from your project managers,
except that they will be located at our offshore facilities and will
cost a fraction of your local staff. Radicle will provide all
administrative support including recruitment and other
infrastructure. Management of the team including project management
and utilization management is generally the client’s responsibility.
Radicle will, of course, be happy to provide these functions if
required. Minimum team size and length of an EDT contract are 3
consultants and 6 months respectively.
These services provide a low cost method to allow you to move
existing applications to newer platforms. ISV’s can employ these
services to broaden their product offerings by supporting newer
platforms – Linux, for example. As an end user, if you have “tried
and trusted” applications that has become costly to maintain and
deploy, porting services can enable you to move them to newer
platforms and technologies – “webify” them, for example.
Flexibility is the key to Radicle’s porting services.
The ported application does not have to be an exact copy of the
“old” application. Rather, there need only be sufficient similarities
in both systems to enable the existing application to serve as a
foundation in specifying the desired functions in the ported
application.
